The Bath Priory While the cuisine is superb and innovative; the wine list is exemplary. Waiters are knowledgeable and the Sommelier more than happy to advise on which tipple will provide that perfect match. Both the main restaurant and private dining areas are light and elegant. In the main restaurant, deep damask banquette seats with feather cushions and taupe coloured walls mix with contemporary mirrors and lighting to provide a rich and warm ambience. Some delightful and "serious" art adorns the walls, a Mary Fedden among them. The private dining rooms have a slightly more contemporary feel - but wherever you eat you know the experience will be a gastronomic delight.
